The CanberraRIDERS crew once again attended the Bikefest event this year, in force. Unlike the 2008 event, the 2009 event was run solely by the motorcycle community in the ACT, and the major organisational efforst were managed by Pete Major from the MRA. Well done Pete on a great event.

This year, the displays were given a lot more room, and the CanberraRIDERS crew made hay while the sun shined ! We managed to fit about 12 bikes into our allocated space. The display looked great, check out the thread for plenty of good photos.

Big thanks to Whickle for the loan of his tent, and also to all the other members who turned up early to help set up.

Next year, we are hoping for a few more spectators to come through the gate. Those that did this year were treated to some excellent displays from the boys at Cunningstunts, and the ACT Trials Club, as well as riding and training displays from Stay Upright.

See you there in 2010 !!
