yonex@18:53 - Thats good luck! Once I left my new Shoei helmet on the bike for the whole day - and it was still there when I came in the evening. It wasn't very popular bike parking though.

  1. True Gent

Late last night I managed to run out of fuel. The nearest servo was nearly 3 Kms away.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the member who performed a U turn to enquire into my plight. With no easy solution to my issue I carried on pushing and he went on his merry way. Some 20 minutes later (to my total surprise) this said member returned complete with a tin of fuel at hand. On top of that he refused to accept any money for the fuel.

  2. Blues Recovery

Finally after two month the repairs have finished and the New Yoshi Pipes are on.
Already noticed a HP increase say 3-4 maybe, have not been able to give it a good run yet but looking at a Coast run on Sunday.

Now the repairs are completed, I'm ready for mods.

    Thoughts or ideas?

  4. Goose

Goose is my 1983 GPz750 (was an '84)

With about 3 months to go on my P's my GS500 died. I hummed and harred for a while, but decided that getting another learner legal bike for 3 months was pointless.
I had a couple of grand in my pocket and went shopping. A couple of grand really doesn’t buy you much, so the hunting went on for a while. I took a look at some horrible old CX500's and XV750's, then stumbled on a plain red 1984 GPz750 in Kaleen.

  5. Mechanics - not just for Ducati riders

Theres an old saying... "Ducati, making mechanics out of riders since...blah"
Well, its not just for Ducati riders.

    I have 3 road bikes. The 109, the A100, and Goose - the GPz750.
    As it currently stands:
The 109 is off the road with a dead regulator/rectifier
The A100 is off the road with...well, a dead engine (still havent split the cases)
And Goose has only just recovered from a stripped out Cam Chain tensioner bolt and a loose Magneto magnet pack and ...
