    I have seen the Hero3+ Black available at times on the CatchOfTheDay.com.au site for $399.

    If that is the camera you want AND are happy to wait for the next sale - then that has been the best price I've seen.

    I have some GoPro Hero 3+ footage shot at 720P at 60 fps from the black dog ride if anybody wanted to see how it went on a chest mount, boring as shit footage but meh, if somebody wants to see it to see how it goes I'll upload it.

    I also have some stills of my helmet from when I tried to start the footage rolling but it was in Camera mode so I was looking down at it to see wtf was going on (inb4 keep your eyes on the road)

    is there anything that identifies a Hero 3 Black from the Hero 3 + ?? apart from the packaging ?? I scored a Hero 3 for Xmas and some extra goodies last week for my birthday - what is the issue with the battery in the Hero 3 ?

    It'll say hero 3+ on the camera instead of just hero 3. Pretty sure the batteries caused issues with it freezing or something? Or that might have been a firmware issue with the really early ones maybe. Someone on here will know for sure though :)
