Hey dudes, with the appearance of a certain bright red Trumpy in the classifieds, I'm putting up my Enfield.

Its a 2013 model I bought brand new from Motociclo sight unseen. As soon as Royal Enfield announced they were releasing the bike in Forest Green I called em up and bought the first one to hit Aussie shores. Great looking bike, great handling, a delight to ride, and always gets good attention.

It's pretty much stock, except for the brown leather panniers. I also have a solo seat for it which I got from Hitchcocks but I decided I didn't like it, so I immediately put the stock seat back on. A hair over 1500kms on the clock, first 500km service done by dealer for warranty purposes, since then I've done the services myself with parts from Motociclo and good quality oil (I cant remember exactly but I've got some left over from services that will go with the bike, if you care, I'll trot out to the garage and have a look). A bit over 1500kms on the clock. Rego till September. I've run it in properly, always shedded, and I'm a fair weather rider if that is important to any potential buyer.

This bike would suit a new buyer, with the added bonus of not having to run in the bike. There's no scratches or damage. The official enfield panniers are of pretty naff quality leather, but no ones forcing you to keep 'em.

I think $5,000 is a fair price, but as usual, open to offers. Test rides welcome, but don't waste my time if you're not interested and just want to say you've ridden an Enfield. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Send me a PM if you wanna talk, or hit me up on Facebook. My number is 0415 559 529 but I'd prefer texting to begin with because I hate talking on the phone.

We should introduce a new system where you just hand me your old bikes when you're done with them. ..

I put it up on the gumtree yesterday and a dude fair dinkum came up from the coast today with the cash and took it on the spot. Can't say it wasnt a bit weird, who carries that amount of cash.

You'd be surprised how much people can withdraw sometimes - we had to visit a few ATMs to buy the sidecar last year but got out the cash in a day to buy it.

People that are buying a bike? lol 5k isn't much to keep on hand, let alone if you're keen to buy a bike (or youve sold 1 and waiting to get the next)

Generally you're limited by the account, from memory, Commbanks withdrawal limit is pretty peasantry @ around $2.5k, sometimes you can pull an extra $1k off a keycard to the same account.

Normally I just get it out on a Friday, call the bank in the morning, get it out at lunch. Never had a drama up to $15k, you gotta order a bit in advance if you want the Hundo's though, bloody pensioners are never depositing them.

Account and also per ATM. $2k per ATM (mostly - some are $1k), ING (I think) able to be upped to $6k withdrawals/day. Wasn't my money so I might be wrong on the particular bank, but it's not one of the big 4.

Like I said, not my account, but I know how much was required and how much we got out using the one card.

In any case it's achievable to get such a cash amount in a day.

True true true, $5k is certainly achievable especially with different ATMs
