Howdi all. Cause it was easier, I bought two foldable steel ramps. I've now assembled both and am offering one for sale :).

Just in time for Marulan... funny that.

Anyway, ramp is 2.15m long when unfolded, made of steel, and folds up. Weighs about 15kg. Maximum capacity is 315kg, so these are suitable for some pretty hefty machinery (most of the Al ones are rated up to ~200 kg). As I said, these came disassembled, I've assembled it and made sure it's working, strong etc etc.

Beats using a piece of wood, nice and sturdy. Comes with the 'safety strap' which is supposed to be used to strap it to whatever you're loading the bike onto.

Will deliver it to most parts of the ACT and Quangers.

    Yours for only $90 ono.

Anyone else who wants one (or two) should check out Repco.

Right, so I spent the evening out and got home a wreck. I hate Astras (not my car, fixing for someone else). Anyway, Laidback's got first dibs on it, thanks for all the interest :).

Have fun assembling them. Biggest thing I can advise: use a 7/16th socket & extension on the small bolts that hold the cross pieces, and a 9/16th socket and spanner for the big bolts. Tis also easier if you assemble the bottom and the top loosely with the cross-bars all only nipped up, then get it all in alignment, then tighten them. Then loosely fit the side plates, hold it all together, and tighten up carefully and equally.

The bolts are annoying seppo-headed; too much slop if you use a 10 and a 14mm.
