@ bigmatty great news, i guess that brought your happiness back and as @Cruiser said that situation really pissed me off a lot so yes, people that steal things like a wheel chair, broken legs is the minimum they should expect

Heres some karma news. Had my car stolen and raped in 2000 ish. A week later the same arsehole came back to our seaside village to rape someone elses car. Unfortunately for him he was spotted by a cop on patrol and followed out of town . The arsehole twigged he was being tailed so gave it some juice on the recently graded and very loose dirt road out of town....then lost it on a bend.. totalled the car and his legs. First response vehicle was local rfs which had the member whose car had just been totalled. It took some time and pain to remove the turd from the wreck. This car theif is now identifiable by his pronounced limp.

Meanwhile the arsehole that stole my bike in 94 has some overdue bills to pay karma. I can only hope the interest is compounding

    stealing a wheelchair?!?!!?!

Big sigh. Very glad to hear you managed to get it back mate. Can't imagine the impact this must have had on your son and your family. Some people never cease to disappoint it seems.

    None :(
Just read your post. I'm speechless. Really glad that it worked out for you and your son in the end. As a dad of 2, I really feel for the impact that would have had on your family. How do you explain and rationalise the actions of these scum to your son? How do you rationalise it to yourself? Humanity never ceases to amaze :(

Totally agree with the above - what sort of dead shit would steal a wheelchair. Anyway, really glad it all ended well for you and the family.

Thanks guys....I was gobsmacked myself tbh....

If I'd left my golf clubs in there or something, I could understand it to an extent, but I thought, however naively, that even muppets would have some sort of moral line they'd not want to cross....apparently not!

That makes me sick. I went looking down the back along the bike path in the reserve near us Matt, I was hoping to catch someone with it. They would have needed it afterwards. Thing is that some people have no respect what so ever... thing is that they put it in a car to take it to belco.. so they weren't that young then!
