intermittent warning light was coming on.... increasingly of late.
Some fault finding and diagnostics revealed it was easier just to replace the top dash.

Top Dash it turns out is just like a second external display. Pete suspected that there may have been a minor wiring issue in it or a problem with the actual light itself. Confirmed it by putting a top dash on my bike last week off a write off Diavel that they had in there for an insurance assessment. So another was ordered and installed.

ah so much has happened since my last post.

I did get an email today though that made me chuckle and reinforced that I'm no typical Ducati rider

    email was:
    Mmmm
I think I have the 12,000 km more than covered...
I think I have had an "oil service" more than covered...
I think I have had the 24,000 km more than covered as well?!?!?

hahahaha One last chuckle though - when I read the email the "OIL SERVICE" was spoken using Dr Evil's voice... no not the CR one but the Austin Power's version. Not sure if it was the quotation marks, the upper case, or the fact that they had to spell out that the "OIL SERVICE" involves a change of engine oil?!?!?!

The 48, 000 km service it's important that your bike undergo a new for old 2015 Diavel service. This service involves a change of bike, specific cheques and if necessary small adjustments to your loan repayments.

Just saw the turbo Diavel at Auto Italia.

No, I didn't take any pics but plenty of other people were clicking away. There were at least four Diavels there. This one is from Gundaroo and has a claimed 270 or 290 rwhp.
It didn't sound much different from a standard one.

My brother's Boss Hoss only put out 350 hp. I used to tell him he was a wimp for going for the 5.7 litre instead of the 10 litre alloy block - just to see what really was too much!

The Boss Hosses almost make sense on American roads but on the Cotter loop the suspension is nowhere near enough.

PS. I was even more impressed with the Diavel at Uriarra with a completely flat section rear tyre from a car - just to save a hundred bucks or so.
