    Hi all

Quick intro - 56yo and I live in Wagga (just trf here from Queanbeyan). Just bought a GPX 750R and hoping to get some lessons from experienced riders. Spent 3 days last weekend around Cooma having a ball. Not much bendy stuff around here so have to head east for fun.

Will keep my eyes open for rides that I might be able to join along the way.

    Cheers

    John

Re: (The old) Hello New People!

Hi John, welcome to the forum mate.

There are always rides up in the Snowies over the summer months, they do tail off a bit between May and August though...

Keep your eyes on the 'Events' forum - all posted rides can be found in there....

Hi John and welcome to Canberra Riders :helllo

There are some awesome roads around Cooma! ( the one between Cooma and Canberra being the exception...)

:hello: welcome John, look forward to chatting and checking out your bike at coffee and you'll be kicking yourself to know how close you were to some of the best bike roads in Australia and didn't know it, although as Goz said it gets a bit chilly up that way between now and September

    Hi Stevo

I think I found some of them
    Day 1 - Wagga - Tumbarumba - Towong - Khancoban - Thredbo - Jindabyne - Cooma
    Day 2 - Cooma -Bombala - Cann River - Pambula - Bombala - Delegate - Bombala - Cooma
    Day 3 - Cooma - Adaminaby - Kiandra - Khancoban - Tumba -Wagga - 1320 kms

Had a ball. It was a bit cold up near the top and now that Anzac Day has passed I think I will have to wait until spring for another run. Will keep my eyes peeled for a run.
