    G'day guys,

Just a message to say hi and to introduce myself. I have only been in fair Canberra for around 4 years and have been solo riding for most of it. I am interested in group rides, discussions and anything to do with bikes of all forms.
I currently ride a Husky smr511, but have a very sickly Honda cd250u as well as a Husky cr50.

Hopefully I will see a few of you guys on up coming rides..

    Cheers.

    Brodi

Yeah I think so. It is in a pretty sorry state at the moment, but i would love to sort out what parts it needs to run and then build up a scrambler kind of thing.

Sweet. I think they are fairly similar. The engines are the same from memory.

Yeah it's awesome fun!! Pretty much just a bored 450. I am thinking I may need to get rid of it soon though to buy a dirt bike, hopefully I won't have to.

Ive just been reading up on them. The maintenance schedule is rediculous! 10 hour oil changes and 25 hour valve checks!

are they as quick as their schedule? Haha I'd probably go a 701 over a 511 now.

Haha yeah the suggested service intervals are ridiculous. I change oil and filter every 500kms and i have 28000ks on it and the valves are still perfect!! My mate has a new ktm 690 smcr and that thing is a weapon with way more relaxed service intervals.

500kms!! That's full on! Yeah I think I'm going to get a 690 tard when I get my open licence. I've got a drz and riding back from the brindies I had heaps more fun in the twistes than I ever have on my ninja300!

Yeah that is me being really particular though. Friends of mine are way more relaxed with theirs. I would love to track day my tard, it would be perfect on a short course like Wakefield or something.
