welcome, cmc have a good Five glove, quite warm and not to thick, has an inner linner to stop water running into the glove. but IMO you cant beat heated grips, now that iv got them there going to be the first thing I put on any bike from now on

Welcome! I got my wintergloves from motirini at Phillp near Woden. They were second hand cheapos that were gonna be "Thrown away" so I got them for $5 from the shop owner.

They're supersized so I just wear my normal gloves and overlap the ones I bought.

That's just the super cheap option. You could buy real ones if you have the budget :)

I hope this topic is still active as very helpful for me also. I feel cold badly and my old inherited gloves which I wear with inner gloves are not cutting the mistard.

Anyone with advice re Alpinestars Jet Road Goretex ?
The Five WFX Tech Gloves sound very good but I've seen a few last pairs of Alpinestars Jet Road Goretex reduced down from $200 to $140 so a little cheaper than the Five WFX. Any opinions on this glove vs. the Five? I feel the cold badly

As I've stated earlier in the thread, I use the Five WFX Tech and they have so far done me two winters without regret.

I commute from Charny/Dunlop to Yarra everyday and the worst I've had was -7 mornings with headwind causing the digits to feel a bit too cold. Usually on those mornings a use some thin thermal fingers which take the last nip out.

    Highly recommended!
