    Hi Lurch!

@ Bluey, was great to meet you yesterday too! You're a great rider and you're going to pass your 'P's test with flying colours!

I won't be able to make it to epic this afternoon as it is my little brother's year 12 formal... but goodluck with your test tomorrow! I'm sure I will see you on a ride soon! :)

I actually cancelled my 'P' test... I'm not ready for it yet... and now I know about the practice sessions with Heidi I am going to head along to some (and by some, I mean a lot) of them and then re-book... hopefully just before Christmas!

    Welcome aboard katie,

have you considered rebooking the course instead of the test? a few of Heidi's practice sessions and a morning with the instructors you should be right as rain. and you get to practice some road craft to.

    Hello @ Yonex and BlackKnight

Yes I am definitely considering booking in for the one day course!! I think I just needed a bit more time than i expected to practice for the test... work and uni have ben busy over that last few weeks so last night was the first chance I got, definitely planning on doing as much as possible!

    Welcome to CR Katie

Heidi is an awesome trainer and you will pick up heaps of great tips from the sessions at Epic. There are quite a few of us learners at present so I think that there will be more sessions coming up.

    Hi Katie,

Welcome to the CR family! I passed my MOST about a month a go and can definitely endorse the benefits of Heidi's L-sessions .. not to mention the fun, friendly and supportive environment.

Just take your time, the worst thing you can do is set rigid timelines on your learning (e.g. I'm going to keep practising the U-turn today until I've got it!), or overpractising .. it's a sure-fire way of psyching yourself out. Take it easy, have fun and enjoy the journey! Make sure you keep on going to Heidi's L-sessions, but treat them like you would a weekly/fortnightly language or dance class; an hour or two with your instructor to get tips and pointers on what you need to work on, then remember to do your homework .. just a little bit a few times a week, and you'll be ace before you know it!

One word of warning however, beware of 'the slap' .. it might feel humiliating at the time, but it's actually a right-of-passage .. guarentee'd to help you pass your test!!

    Jon

Hey guys! Thanks for the welcomes! I was actually really lucky to meet Heidi out there yesterday! I just went along to practice of my own accord and stumbled across what turns out to be a miracle!!

@Jessa, would love to try and make it to coffee on a Monday! Would be great to meet some more fellow riders out there! I'll have to find out more information!

@Lauren, maybe if we practice hard in the next couple of weeks we can book in for the same 'P' test before Chrissy! It can be our x-mas present to ourselves!

Hopefully I will meet you all out at a L practice session at epic soon! :)
