Haha, s'all good. The seller will give you the current registration slip. Printed on the back of it is the "Notice of disposal". This will be filled out with their details, signed and dated. You hand this in with the RWC (Roadworthy Cirtificate, pretty much a MOT disk) and ID Check papers. It's $55 to transfer the rego, + Stamp duty. Stamp duty is 3% of the bikes purchase price. I bought my CB end of december, didn't register it until mid-January. I explained that there were no workshops open to have it inspected over the holiday break, and they waived the late fee - They may do the same for you too.
