ok everyone... by special request :)

For those who haven't been before, we do roadcraft and practise low-speed skills, the idea is to keep you alive on the road, as well as practising for the test. You'll get to spend time with other people who are at the same level as you and probably make some new friends. Don't be scared or intimidated, we've worked out if you can get to practise, then you are qualified to participate. We'll factor in your level. We'll also practise elements of the test and run though the complete test for people who have it coming up.

    A few things:

*Bring water, you will dehydrate and get goofy.
*Wear full protective gear, helmet, jacket and gloves at a bare minimum.
*This is not an organised thing (clearly) we are just a group of people getting together.

    Reply if you are interested...

IT WILL BE SAT AFTERNOON 4 MAY at 1 PM

DUE to circumstances (hopefully temporarily beyond our control) Practise will NOT be at EPIC, but rather in Queanbeyan.

See you all at the Queanbeyan Carpark this week....

special guest appearance will be @Heidi1!

for those that haven't been to this carpark before... I'm including a map :)

Let us know if you want to come.

Put me on the maybe list. (The commuting for work really messes up my ability to plan ahead).

Will we be able to cone up all aspects of the MOST as Qbean only has the cone weave and u-turn painted (from what I could find). I really want to work on the swerve section if possible.

Will probably bring a tape measure so we can measure out the swerve.

Usually they go for a couple of hours.
So @Pink if you aren't able to get there until after 3... things will probably be wrapping up by then... sorry. @Castles90 each practise does vary in how long it goes for depending on numbers, and depending on what people want to focus on.

At EPIC we used to end by running through the MOST for those that had a date booked in.
At Queanbeyan the whole course is marked out the same as the test is conducted... so most of the components we can do stand alone... and as I mentioned earlier, I'm going to try and bring a measuring tape so we can try and put the cones out for the emergency swerve.

If this current venue issue remains much longer... hopefully the mythical Ninja Painters may surprise us sometime and some new markings may appear.

Edit: I have updated the original RSVP list, based on my understanding of people's posts / comments as well.

Although I'm sure that by posting this I am going to prove myself wrong - I have found my cornering much tighter after doing a section of the cotter/brindabella road before going to practice. Not that I will get to do that this time as I've got my monthly Cooma trip this Saturday and will be fighting to get back in time.

    Hey folks!

If it's not raining, i'll be there!

This will be the first time i've met up with any other riders at all, so no idea what to expect, and very little idea what's actually involved with this learner session, but i figure any practice is good practice!

does anyone know if you go for your Ps on a manual scooter whether this will limit you in terms of the type of Ps you get. I am wondering whether I should practice on the vespa or on the cruiser, cruiser is like a Harley and has a huge turning circle. Though part of me says I should get my roadcraft on the cruiser sorted in any case, as I ride this every day. But I have to get the Ps this month, so might be easier on the vespa. Any advice guys and girls?
