Just found a company that does the Frisco bars with decent shipping and a fair bit of other stuff. Most of it's for old British bikes, but a lot of Sportster stuff as well. Will probably need to get a new brake line, been told I can gently bend a part of it, but will need to see by how much before I do anything to it.

And they're ordered. Will take a while to ship, so the wait begins.

My bars are only a few minutes away. Very quick getting into the country. Pics of the bars will be posted up when I get home.

    Here's some pics.

Yeah. It was Lowbrow Customs. I really was expecting it to be a lot longer to get here. I chose the cheap shipping option. And they're in Clevland Ohio.

Just did a quick trial fit. I like them. Going to be very different to ride with them.

No torx bits at home. Plus I'll need to do something with the front brake line.

I might be able to do it by reversing the top banjo bolt, spinning the line around. Then a slight adjustment to the solid pipe. Checked all the other stuff. Clutch, throttles and electrics are all good.

Or take your existing line down to ACT brakes and say 'i need one a couple of inches longer'

So you can go 'cruising'. Apparently there's an app for that...

Just started working on putting them on properly. Is there a better mix than a tool box you don't like, a bike you love and beer?

Left side done. Just checked the wiring connecting and function, all good so far. Now for the hard bit, brake side.

Going to have to do it, then measure it for brake length.

Done apart from the brake line, but it's removed ready for a walk down to a brake shop tomorrow at smoko. Had a little issue with the brake light staying on, but managed to fix the problem in a few minutes.

Here's a couple of pics. After a quick ride test ride down the street they feel good. Feels higher than I was first expecting, but comfortable so far. Felt good when I did a U-turn in the street, so control isn't bad with them either. Depending on how the brake hose goes, I might be taking the bike out on the weekend for a ride.
