So most of you guys know my 2015 Indian Scout so I've decided to give it its own thread of what I'm planning on doing to it. First this is slip ons so it stops sounding whiney and has a bit of grunt to it. I've been shopping online for a while and found a set of Bassani Fishtail slip ons that I'm very keen on. Next up I want to grt the Indian logo painted on each side of the tank in matt black I'm hoping someone in CR can point me in the direction of someone who can do this. I also want to get a spring seat for it and a leafspring front end to sit over the gaurd as kind of a shout out to its grandfather the 101 Scout. I was thinking about approaching Garage 30 to see if they could make one up but if anyone knows someone that could help I'd appreciate it. After that I'll probably get a set of saddle bags and a luggage rack. That's all I can really think of doing to it for now but I'm happy to hear suggestions and I'll be uploading progress pics as it comes along.

Painting, talk to Redback Racepaint. I've not had anything done there myself, but they have a particularly good reputation.

Anything suspension, have a talk with Laurie (Suspension Smith)... If he can't help with the custom front end then he'll know who can.

Good luck with the build! :D

Leafspring front end would be interesting, I'd be even more interested to know if Garage 30 could pull it off?

I know a great fabricator with good prices in Sydney that you can talk to, has CNC, suspension software etc.

Are you talking a faux leaf spring front end or one that actually works? The springer front end from the later Scouts (1940) is much prettier, probably works better and might easier to manufacture, if you desire one that works. Good luck with it.

It doesn't have to work but hey if I can get a working one made up why not?!, I have seen a 15 scout with a leaf spring on it so I know it can be done

Nice bike mate. There is a great write up in the latest retro bike mag on a kiwi guy who hand builds indians. Beautiful looking but super expensive $55K or so. The web site is www.kiwiindian.com

If you're just talking about faux one, they might be able to mock something up.

IMO it'd be a bit too cheesy and weird to put a fake leaf spring on it, it'd be awkward explaining it to people.

A real one would be pretty sweet and different. Not sure how they handle though lol

Ok first up a heads up and something I didn't know but revzilla won't ship slip on mufflers, batteries, stands and windshields. So after a bit of a google around I found KPR Industries who import Bassani pipes into Australia and were happy to import my fish tails in for me. In other news at the request of @G-relk and @Miggzie and because I needed to do something to customize the Scout before Black Dog... White Walls

the spring seat also adds to the overall effect. Are you going that route also?
