Lol. What have I started? :yikes!:
I own a vt750, and if it wasn't so damn expensive and shiny, I'd have it out on the dirt to see what it could do!
If I could take it out on a dirt track, it would be everything I like all in one package! Cruiser, dirt riding, track riding.
LoL. I can't help you with the dirt bit, but here's a couple of links you might be interested in. I'm still getting used to the layout of this forum. I thought I'd posted these links earlier but they didn't show up.

Belated welcome to the forum, I'm also hoping to make my first appearance at coffee this Monday, not that I've been riding long.
Thanks - I see people round with bars that high and have always wondered and wanted to know, your explanation makes perfect sense
Thanks. See you there.
I'm a bit dirty on myself for only finding this forum after daylight saving has finished. :banghead!: Not that I'm scared of the dark or anything.
Here's a link to the forum that inspired me to go APE. I read stuff on there for 2 years before I did it.
welcome aboard Crusty :helllo
Thanks Somelad. Back in the 80's a friend of mine bought the then new GSX1100. I took it for a ride and came thinking WTF?? How can they be allowed to make a bike this fast. I imagine your 2005 incarnation is a good deal quicker.
Thanks for the links, but that's for a pre-EFI, pre-Shaft Drive Aero..
I've got an '08 VT750 C2, so about the only thing that is the same is the frame and the engine block.
I'm still looking (kinda) for the shop manual on it...
No worries. Here's a couple of other links to forums that you might like.
I'm currently enamoured with http://www.shadowriders.net , but they still can't help at the moment, the efi shadow only hit america this year, so there isn't a lot of info out on it right now. There might be more on the japanese sites, but I can't read japanese (yet). Anything I'll be doing with the efi part would be on my own...
I've seen a lot of stuff I want, but I'm currently suffering a cashflow problem.
And now you've got me thinking about white walls. :biggrin
