Okay here's some pix of my antique - an oldie but a goodie! I added the screen and panniers for touring and have since replaced the gearsack for an Rjays topcase. The old beast still goes well - if you were on the blood moon run and couldn't hear what gear you were in - chances are I was coming up behind. The exhaust is after-market and guy doing the initial rego check said 'I'm not even going to start this thing' - he heard me approach from two suburbs away, but decided he liked the look of it anyhow.

I haven't touched the engine aside from routine servicing but since I bought it about six years ago I've had the following work done:
    • re-upholstered the seat
    • replaced the fork seals (courtesy of a mono during the advanced riding course
    • front brake cylinders - CB1100 calipers
    • replaced rear shocks (didn't handle too well after a spring broke near Bungendore) - now CB1100 shocks
    • new coils - ran rough when I bought it
    • three replacement speedos - vibration kills them
    • *ahem* rewired the tail light after a darker than expected blood moon run...

Nice work Jerry - My mate ProblemChild had one of these many years ago, he hates them !!  but they are a good bike if looked after.............one of my *best* speeding fines was on his Rolladoor, got done back in 1983?-ish, for 147kmh in an 80 zone  down Ginnindera Drive..........no points back then, and they were behind and chasing, so it was only an *estimated* speed.... can't even remember the fine, I think it was a whopper !!
