Whats wrong with an old army surplus 'canvas over the shoulder' bag strapped to the seat with occie straps - at least attempt to be 'period correct'!

Great looking bike brother, very jealous, enjoy and remember that life is not a fashion parade (so go for low fashion for cred!).

It was most likely me. I was in and around Jerra on both Sat & Sun. UP to 400kms on my shiny new bike!

Thanks for the vote of confidence about my bike! I am having an absolute ball! Rode to work yesterday and today... and still can't get the grin off my face!
As for the "less is more" option for bag... mmm cred on a vintage (ok look-alike-Bonnie rip off) mmm :)

I remember the 'grin' factor - enjoy it!

Just get the 'old school' bag and occie it on - I will even donate original BLACK occies if necessary :D

Liking the concept of an old school bag, or airline bag, or something! Classic!
kitch but humorous! Not sure about cred then though!

Thanks for the occie strap donation - but I think I have a few around the house here somewhere!

don't see anything here for me to be embarrassed by actually.
Was good to re-read my first afternoon of riding, and clearly I'm still having fun riding :)

Meet some amazing people in here, had some incredible riding adventures, and I'm still passionate.

Did 24000km on my W800, and already knocked over 4000km in 5 weeks on my Diavel.

400km???? Sounds like typical Ducati (and Harley) distances. Too busy drink coffee.

4000km sorry... missed a zero, but quickly corrected myself.
Can't even start to add up how many coffees I've drunk on rides though :)

ha ha ha I think it's great to see that you went for a bike you loved, the W800 was obviously the right choice! I wonder if you'd have guessed back then that you'd have a Diavel now??
