    Hi all,

Just picked up my 6 yesterday from Ocky. I'll keep the road gear just in case, but it will be used primarily as a track bike.

It's pretty rough and is going to take a bit of work, but I'm booked into EC on the 29th of March so that will give me enough motivation to make it all happen.

To have it ready for EC next month I'll need...

    Brake pads.
    All new fluids.
    All new filters.
Clean fuel tank (has rust inside)
    Tyres (slicks)
    Valve clearances.
    New pipe.
    Battery.
    Spools.
Race glass (hopefully have a set this week, cant contact the guy I'm supposed to be picking it up from). :nooo2
Tuned and jetted for new pipe and air filter.
Complete suspension overhaul, rear shock rebuild, reconditioned front end.
And just a good clean, as its pretty filthy.
I'll probably get away with the current chain and sprockets for a while but they will need to be changed soon as well.

That should keep me busy for the next 34 days. :yay

    Cheers,
    Mike.

Looks suitably gangsta. If I remember correctly it had horrible brakes?

    You're an idiot.

In other news, I went up and watched the PCRA meet today - you really should race that thing. I can't wait to see it with the race glass on.

    Doesn't qualify.

Cut off is 12/1995. This is an 06/1996. I'm still interesting in St. George clubsport

It will qualify if there are no updates from the 1995 model. Gos was saying today that model is pretty much the same as the '95, so you could probably get it through. It'll definitely fit into the 600cc Clubsport with St George too, so you could even do both!

    I'll look into it.

I've still gotta get through this year on it before I worry about racing it. A lot can happen in 12 months.

Yeah, that's true. You might not like it, and end up swapping it for a cruiser :haha

Im no Kawasaki expert (who would want to be?) but I think the 96 is the same as the 95. Jump on the PCRA site and ask the 400 know it all dickheads that inhabit the site :smile
