Just back from "Chateau De Lurch"

We got it sorted, compliments of an ugly mutli-shifter and my fat arse rocking the bike.

Following Murphy's Laws, I'm also due to find my socket in about 3 hrs now we no longer need it.....

just doesnt seem to engage the clutch properly - but i think i may have gotten some air in the line
i had to crack the bleed niple to squeeze the cylinder, to get it back on

hmmmmm - when I did Bogan's clutch, I had to use a small G-clamp to squeeze the piston *right* back into the slave cylinder, once the new pushrod was fitted. Be careful if you do this, soak a bit of fluid out of the master cylinder on the bars first, otherwise you may get excess fluid dripping all over the bars/tank.... :(

If you haven't loosened any of the hydraulic lines during the removal process, then no air should have gotten into the system ? Cracking the bleed nipple shouldn't have allowed air in........

If its till not working properly tomorrow, let me know.

Well, I 'squeezed' my slave cylinder home with a hammer and a distinct loss of temper....

If you're talking about Chain Gang, where did you get the idea that there's a life time guarantee? Website link or email reference? I can't find anything giving any guarantee other than longer life than OEM sprockets.
