5 months ago I had to change the battery on the bike. About a month after the Regulator started playing up, which caused the bike to discharge. I originally thought it was the battery but when it happened a few times, i took it out and measured it and the thing had shat itself, so i bought an original Hyosung one and swapped it.

I had an issue with the FI light coming on at this stage, but it was a dicky connector, don't think it has anything to do with anything.

A month later, every now and again the bike would make a whirring noise and not start, I'd have to rock it back and forth and try again and then it would engage. I took the bike in for its 10,000km service and this is where it all went downhill. The mechanic said everything is OK but the bike except the starter clutch as it won't engage at all anymore. We bump started it and it worked fine. I took it home, bought a starter clutch + flywheel assembly and replaced the old one (the old one was spinning both ways, little springs sticking out of it, goner). Now the bike is engaging AND cranking, but won't start. At all. All other lights are working fine and no error codes on the bike.

I have checked everything and all the voltages / ohms were coming up fine, so finally took it into the shop. They've tested the ECU and said that its reading the wrong voltage, but the battery is generating the right amount.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm stuck, and paying through my ass to Peter Stevens Geelong to have a look. HELP!

Hrrrm, yeah, that's an interesting one. If the ECU for some reason is not seeing enough voltage, they generally shut down the injectors and/or spark triggering. So you'd start by looking for poor earths or poor connections on the wiring, primarily around the ECU.

That is exactly my thought as well, but the wiring diagram looks like someone went overboard with making tentacle porn, so not being able to figure it out :\
