New, lower handlebars

    I'll measure the Monster once I uncover it from all of the RGV stuff covering it (which will happen tonight as I finish rebuilding it) and verify the dimensions, but sounds good :).

    To lower my handlebar height I bought some aftermarket cb 400 four handle bars on ebay from China($29.99 with free postage) for my old cb 500 as I also prefer to ride leaning forward some - not just when I'm having some fun in the twisties but also when I'm travelling at highway speeds to counter the wind force trying to push me off balance rearward. I like my levers twisted down rather than sicking out forward so I had to redrill the pin holes for the switchblocks no dramas. I like my bars twisted forward a fair way(I'm tall!) however the tacho was in the way of the banjo bolt and brake hose so I had to have them less forward than I would have liked, but all in all a very good result that I'm more than happy with!
