Well it turns out it's not just second gear... I've notice it a bit rough in most gears as I guess I've been over compensating in them to skip second.

Fortunately, it's still well within what I've budgeted for! so getting the whole thing replaced. Looks like I might have to part with my lovely bike though, as I guess i'm to much of a quick shifter for the 109 :20.gif: /sob... or just pay this every year... lol

There's no fix? I know people who race RSV4's have been known to buy an aftermarket set of gears that have additional dogs to try and stop the damage. Nothing like this for the 109?

I'm assuming its the dogs that get damaged

Fair enough, I remember the RSV ones are mega $. But if you like the bikes enough and it saves the labour every year certainly an option for some

Not one that I think I'd be queuing up for though :)

I did originally joke about selling it, but realistically, I don't really want anything else.

    I love her so :(

I also don't want to spend all this money on the bike every year either. /sigh

Dunno, I got it cos it was powerful fast, and could haul my fat arse around with not a single issue!

Maybe I need to look at something more sporty :(

lol, No Paul... Dual Sports? possible some naked bikes, but it all depends on price... if i do I want a straight trade-in with as little extra money as possible. I do like the possibilities of dual sports though!

There are actually 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Riicho, most Ducati's will be out of my price range. Not sure what it will be yet... if it changes at all!
