I've come to the conclusion that I just dont have time/effort/money to do this bike properly - or go racing at this stage. And the upcoming year isnt looking any better.
Also, I still have the A100 for my small bike fix.

So, for sale is a partially stripped 1980 CB125N, which will make a perfect bucket racer project.

    What do you get?
    1) Complete CB125N. So far, the following has been stripped off, but is all still there:

    • Tank
    • Side panels
    • Exhaust
    • rear shocks
    • swing arm
    • rear wheel
The engine was running and is not reason why with some TLC wont again.

    2) 1 partial CB125 and 1 partial CB100.
These were the left over bits SpeedyGP gave me, and because they didn't cost me anything, I'm happy to also pass them on to another CR member.
These do not include any engines, however there are frames, wheels, front ends, etc etc.. The CB100 includes a rough, but way nicer shape tank that would look very nice on the bucket racer.

    So how much?
The whole lot owes me a smidge under $400, but I'm happy to get them out of the garage for $300.

Before Xmas would be nice :D

Stace, we need to rent a place with a two-car (aka 14 motorcycle) garage.

Maybe you can merge parts and make a 4 stroke GT250?

    Re: 1980 CB125N Project

Because otherwise my idea made sense??

Buckets are fun though. Mine was based on a CB125. Didnt look like one at the end though. Sadly all photos lost in computer crash:(

Nah, as MickLC's sig says, why use four strokes when you can do it in two?

Hmmm!! If it's still for sale after Xmas lurch I'm keen for a look. I was gonna look for a bucket racer for 2012 but maybe just maybe I could fix this one.
