Boots and safety vest are what you need to stop it being squidding, sorry.

Morphsuit, good idea. Would be great for petrol station asking you to remove your helmet.

Riding with less gear that the person making the statement wears.

Lol isn't it riding with no gear?
I do like the urban dictionary's definition though haha
"An extremely rare animal with a short lifespan. Usually a new sport bike enthusiast with the reasoning of a lunatic, whom you might see thrashing on an R1 wearing sandals, shorts, and a tee.
When found lying motionless on the pavement, this creature transforms itself into a stream of blood, exposed flesh, and broken limbs. Hence the squid moniker."

The creation of the name is an area of much debate. Needless to say, if you are wearing shorts and a tshirt, someone in jeans and a tshirt and thongs will probably say you're squidding. If you're in normal jeans and someone is in draggins, sometimes they'll say you're squidding, and sometimes people say it about people who aren't wearing leathers: the true ATGATT sort of person.

Lucifer's summary is scarily accurate. People usually say someone is a reckless rider if they're faster than the person saying it, and people say someone is squidding if they appear to be wearing less safety gear than the person saying it.

I makes sense if you put it that way, however that would mean that the only "non-squidding" person would be the one with the full leathers, spine protector, neck brace blah blah blah.
I only call ppl that don't wear any gear squids, and scarily enough there are plenty of those around...

To some people, that's exactly how they see it - not wearing everything means you're squidding. I myself have been known to rip down to the shops in whatever I was wearing and a helmet to comply with legislation, but that's a bit of a different topic :).

To answer John's original question, the blue clashes with the black of the bike. Maybe a different colour would have been a good idea.

I've also heard SQUID could also mean Stupidly Quick & Under Dressed.

And also that it is in reference to the animal Squid, in that they can accelerate quick, but have to come to a complete stop to change direction/take corners.

As I said, the origins of the word are murky. There are as many ideas on where it comes from as there are ideas on what it means to be a squid :).

The blue still clashes. Also clashes with the shoes.
