    I had a conversation like that some years ago in Adelaide - he limped over and said: "how many gears does that thing have?" He must've been at least in his mid 70s - "This guzzi has five" I said - and then he got into a conversation about how he loved the old three speed ones back in the day... then he pulls out a slightly worn photo - "that's me just behind Bernard Hargreaves in the '52 500cc Isle of Man TT" Turns out he was Dean Boult and rode AJS and Triumphs from 1949-1953 on the Isle of Man - best place 4th in 1952. We chatted for about 15 minutes before his daughter called him and he reluctantly parted - amazing who you meet sometimes :)

    Just today I had some old bloke come up to me and go "does it go alright?" To which I obviously replied "yeah goes great", being the old bloke he was, he continued on, "they're a great little bike use to have one myself, anyways have a good day mate"
    Made me instantly think of this post and smile. Made my day lol thanks old blokes :)
