Sorry folks, was planning to provide an update on the weekend, but life got in the way.

I'm going to scout out a carpark walking distance from CMC where we can meet up a short time before hand and then stroll over to CMC, and where we can avoid the other 100+ bikes that will be milling around CMC.

The posse looks like being a manageable size, so we should be able to keep it together. We'll do a refresh on group riding before we depart, and nominate a tail end Charlie.

As suggested by eeyore, we can then just wait for the bulk of the pack to take off, then follow along.

I'll PM all the confirmed and maybes with my mobile, and request mobile numbers so we have a contact list for the day.

On the other side of the lights is a hill .. just on top of that hill is a car park .. should be ok to gather in before hand.

Last years had suction cups on all four feet. Just make sure your bike is clean and he sticks down nicely. I used a little bit of wax string to help out a little, because I wanted a different position for him.

I might even take last years with me as well.

Hi DJY - thanks for the offer. I'd like to catch up for coffee to have a chat. Would 2pm on Sat @ Debacle work for you?

At this point, we have:
AshJay - Yes DrEvil - Yes eeyore - Yes live2eat - Yes Ruski - Yes Snuggle5 - possible

DrEvil is doing the MOST on Saturday, so won't be able to attend coffee, but how about the other Posse members?

Additional info re Sunday:

I suggest we meet on Sunday at 8:15am in the carpark behind the servo in Eyre Street, Kingston. Should be familiar to most of the posse, as it was the meet point for the Learner session a few weeks back. We can then head on to CMC and look for parking (suggesting somewhere on Industry Loop - a new road off Cessnock Street in Fyshwick).

Happy to catch up on Saturday.

One option you might like to consider is instead of riding to Industry Loop... just get to CMC nice and early before the crowds. Park in the underground carpark (It's flat) and then wait for the main convoy to roll out and join in towards the back.

This Sat I'm helping a friend install heated hand grips on the GS. Will see how I go for 2pm. I was aiming for an early arrival at CMC but happy to join the group wherever decided. Someone mentioned there was a carpal across the road from the intersection by CMC if we wanted a local catch point...
