    **HINDMARSH***!!

I have to rant for a mo...

Why is it that in the morning during rush hour, drivers just seem to forget how to drive?!!!!

Today was NOT the first time that on Hindmarsh Drive in particular 1) A driver did not give way for me, pulling out into my side forcing me to swirve away and 2) Not checking mirrors etc before changing lanes (no i was not in their blind spot).

And to continue on from my first point, the silly little girl driving seemed to think she was doing the RIGHT THING and chose to stick her MIDDLE FINGER up at me as if i was in the wrong!!! WT*!!!!!! Let me get this straight, i was taught that when behind a give way line, you give way to the right, right! Not this chick, who the frick taught her to drive!!!???

    RANT OVER!

I go down Hindmarsh to and from work each day. It's bullshit. Especially with the time lapse speed cameras (Red Hill to O'Malley) which keep everyone all bunched up. It doesn't allow for the heroes to crank past you at 20kmh over, rather they sit on your arse for 4km. And the worst corner I find is heading towards Woden, just after the speed camera, where Tyagarah St intersects with Hindmarsh and people cut across 3 lanes to turn onto Palmer St. I've almost been taken out a few times by cars crossing lanes in front of me at at least 70kmh.

Follow her to where ever she is going, wait for her to leave her vehicle and then get some nice juicy dog shit and put it under the door handles of her car.

Generally i just putter off on my scooter and let it go.. or blast my 109's exhaust and roar off to show my displeasure...

The one time i got wordy with a driver, it resulted in the side mirror being kicked off(and some one stupidly turning himself in...which then resulted in quite a fair bit of stress... lol we learn from out mistakes i guess!!(cops ruled it as provocation, and it's all done and dusted though!))

I was even advised off the record that... "dude.. just do it, and go, it's not a crime unless it's witnessed... just saying!" (my paraphrasing)... which explains why they didn't get done in for hitting me.. of course... neither of them saw anything... nothing at all!! "don't know what he's on about officer!!"

I have since developed an inherent dislike of Audi Drivers.

Sounds a lot like 4WD syndrome, I'm bigger than you so f..k off. Not very nice but it is real, watch how many 4WDs force themselves into spots and smile.

    not only on Hidmarsh Drive.
cruisin in the right lane on the Parkway, looser old man Camry driver moves from left lane to the right lane for what seems to be no real reason. Then sits 10kph below the speed limit so I'm forced to sit up his arse probably 5/7m behind. Then proceeds to turn on hazard lights and brake check me 3 or 4 times.

Camry drivers need a license test every fortnight.

Saw a pristine white mirror lying on the ground in a weird place the other day and thought it is probably the result of someone kicking a mirror off. I laughed.

I generally treat the road like every car is out to kill you but when I triage the threats, Camrys are right at the top of the avoidance list. Closely followed with anything with DC / DX number plates.

I'm going to take up motorcycling because of this video.

But that aside, it's great to get angry about yet another incident with a car, but...... really where does that get you..... every time I get on a bike I assume there'll be cars running me over. I'm not dead yet, partially because of this.... so many many times I could have been killed through no fault of my own, oh well.... :)

You are on a bike = awesome. Nothing else matters....

Has anyone else noticed that middle aged business shirt wearing Camry Aurion drivers are the most likely to try and drag you off at the lights? They are right up there with male P platers in Magnas.
