Never noticed to be honest. Don't get cars dragging me off the lights.
Do see a bit of dumb driving on Hindmarsh though.

It's because of the high likelihood that they are in the best, fastest sports car in the world. Hire cars. Nothing, but nothing, is faster than a hire car.

    my stats puts it at:
    1) most SUVs - the words I have for SUV drivers are not suitable for such a respectable forum such as CR.
    2) Audi drivers (aka pole sitters).
    3) old geezers in the right hand lane at speedLimit - 10

BMW SUVs are statistically the worse in my experience.

Just another day on Canberra roads. I crossed at a pedestrian crossing the other night and nearly got clipped by a doosh who couldn't wait for the light to go green.

Very timely thread talking about Hindmarsh Dr..

Riding to work this morning, appraoching the exact intersection I mentioned above, the entire righthand lane was banked up (stationary) to turn into Palmer St. I was in the lefthand lane about 30m from the back of said line (doing 80km/h), when a Suzuki Swift that was sitting at the back of this line pulled into my lane with 1 flash of the blinker. And when I say pulled, I dont mean merged, they literally were doing 5-10km/h. I can safely say this is the first time, since doing the licence test, I've had to properly emergency brake.

    How close was it?

Well my front wheel hit their rear bumper. I was lucky to keep the bike up.

good work. Drivers pulling out of a queue is my worst nightmare, has happened a few times over the years and always shits me to the max. Almost lost a foot because of some fuckhead doing this once in the city.......

I travel from Canberra to Yass daily the difference between 130km/h and 100km/h over the 55k stretch is 7.5minutes in reality due to traffic and towns its like 3 sec's. enough time to scratch your arse or pick your nose, why not scratch before you leave and leave 3sec's earlier.Really went to queanbeyan this morning ( from Gungahlin) and the number of numbnuts out was amazing all to save a sec here or there. people need a reality check.

Just came back from a ride and had a stupid bimbo in a forester move over on me not even reving the crap out if my bike got her to stop but it was reason enough for her bogan boyfriend to flip me off and spit at me when I went round them. So to hell with Canberra dooshbag drivers next person to do it is losing their mirror!! Rant over

Haha the potential for extreme embarrassment cause by breaking your own hand while trying to be menacing means I use my feet instead. We should start a poll.
