In the car I have a couple of Iron Maiden Cds, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica and a mix containing a few bits and pieces - Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, more Metallica and Rage, Guns 'n' Roses and I can't remember what else.

I should add, as well as the Stereophonics; there is *always* some Counting Crows and most of the OC sound tracks.
Yes... crappy, crap, crap show - but have any of you listened to the soundtracks? Some really good amercian indie stuff on there.

Nothing wrong with that, it's good stuff. I'm a big Prodigy fan. Have you heard Jose Gonzalez's cover of Teardrops? It's fucking brilliant.

No, I haven't - but It sounds like it would be rather surreal...
My Music collection is... diverse... I mean, theres all the above, a lot of NIN and RAGM, some obligatory Metallica (up to the Black album.. refused (and still do) to get "Gone Commerical" and "Gone Even More Commercial" otherwise known as Load and Reload), lots of indie trance and elektronica... even some peter allen (oh comeon, still call aust. home is awesome :p )

Yeap, probably the best teardop cover i've heard.

Same with Josh Pyke's Wuthering Heights....

Alot of good Aussie stuff coming out (not that Jose is Aussie), I nearly clipped my mate on the ears when he said "i'm not gettin into the aussie stuff lately"

Also in rotation in my car

    The Church
    Hoodoo Gurus
    Paul Kelly
    Sepultura
    Ramones
    Misfits
    U2
    Ministry Of Sound 2008

    Guns'n'Roses.

To this day I have not heard any other rock album that can match the perfection of Appetite for Destruction. There simply isn't a bad song on it, or even an average song. They're all great, from the opening "Welcome to the Jungle" all the way through to the final mastery of "Rocket Queen" -- possibly their best** song ever.

    Slash.
    Fucking.
    Pwns.

** along with the song referenced in my sig

Looking through the other posts again I see I'm not the only Van Halen fan. Woohoo! Who else is mega keen to see them live if they tour out here again as rumoured? Would be wicked to see EVH, AVH and DLR together on stage again. Shame about Michael Anthony though :-(

I saw them last time at AIS when they toured with Gary Cherone on the mic... 1998 or 1999 or something. A long time ago anyway. Blew my fugging mind.

Yep I'll be there. Canberra, Sydney, even Melbourne if I have to. It was '98 and I have the posters and some photos and a souvenir pick to remember it by. Even got the MTV broadcast video from Sydney somewhere on my PC :).

Yep, I'm definitely in, whenever.... Late last year I got a heads up from Bigpond that they were touring (3 brothers and David Lee Roth). I haven't seen any promo since and not even anything on their website. I'm starting to think I imagined it all. :?

3 brothers? not quite. Wolfgang Van Halen is Eddie's son... he's apparently 16 years old and awesome on the bass

I like a lot of different stuff...
The usual stuff I listen to is Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The White Stripes, Rammstein, NIN, David Bowie, Daft Punk and A Perfect Circle.
But I also like some of the old stuff by Marilyn Manson and The Killers, as well as Soundgarden, Placebo and B(if)tek.
    It’s the goods! ;)
