    For sale: K6 gsxr-1000

    Hi all,

I have for sale my immaculately looked after K6 GSXR1000. This bike has been a pure hobby bike and has never been on a race track or ridden in the rain. The bike is in A1 condition and has not scratches or paint fading. Looks new. It comes with the following:

    - 11 months rego / all manuals / servicing docs / paperwork.
    - Newly fitted front / rear tyres and chain.
    - upgraded air filters
    - Recently serviced
    - Pillion seat and seat cowl cover
    - Race stand and mounts
    - Yoshimura TRC exhaust system (currently fitted)
    - Race pipe & stock suzuki titanium exhaust (total of 3 pipes)

I also have for sale the following gear that I will either include or heavily discount depending on negotiations.

    - AGV Stealth helmet with helmet bag and 2x visors (A1 condition)
    - Brand new HSC helmet with cover.
    - RJAYS riding jacket with waterproof inserts
    - 2x pairs of gloves
    - Some spare parts and cleaning materials.

If you are looking for a 155km/hr in first gear bike that is in A1 condition this is your bike. The extras notated above make this a ready to go package.

Im chasing $11,000 for this bike & all the gear but am willing to consider all reasonable offers as I want to move it quickly.

Bike is located in Canberra but I am willing to ship interstate if needed. Please feel free to contact me for more info.

    Cheers and thanks for looking,

    John

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Who ever buys it will get a great bike. I really wish I didn't have to sell it but since I broke my back (non-motorbike injury) I haven't enjoyed riding due to being really uncomfortable. Since that time all I've done is use it as a trophy bike and spend more time maintaining it than riding it.

    Cheers,

    John

Thanks vid. I've been in denial for ages about it but the bike is just too aggressive and really starts to hurt me after a short while. I think I'd be right on something that I could sit a little straighter on, like a street fighter, but I'll see how things go in the future.

Anyone on here interested in it? I've had some interest from Melbourne and some tyre kickers from sydney but I'd really like to sell locally.

Please let me know if you're keen and we can discuss.

If I didn't already have a K5 I'd be all over this like a cop on a donut...

Nice touch with the rear rim polishing, very tidy bike.

Just do it!! I went from a CBR250RR on my P's to an Aprilia RSV Mille - from no gurnt to 998cc of Rotax V-Twin torque... I never looked back and with this gixxer neither will you :)

Serioulsy, the K5/6 litre gixxers are awesome, bulletproof and so so fast...

ps. Bummer about the Hyo... but with a $6k repair bill you're more than half way to AWESOME!

As much as people will probably disagree or think I'm just trying to sell the bike I reckon it's not that much of an issue going straight to a 1litre bike - at least you won't get a 600 and be sick of it in 12 months! The key thing is being responsible on a 1000cc bike, things happen very quickly!

Let me know if you'd like to come for a look. I live near Gunghalin.

    Cheers,

    John

Great price for a great bike - I'd go for it Tim, if you ride within your limits, you will be fine jumping to a 1L bike.

If you're gonna go for a thou straight outta your P's this is probably a good choice because you aren't perched right on top of the thing like other supers, makes it a bit easier to get to used to. Plus, the motor is road-oriented, rather than being a peaky race one.
