Hi all, I am a relatively new rider....still on my L's. Still getting my confidence up. I was to be involved in the toy run this morning and went to leave and realized my bike had been stolen. It is only two weeks old. 50k on the clock!
It was stolen from the basement carpark of sunrise apartments queanbeyan.
If anyone sees it hopefully could you please let me know. I will be forever grateful :)

You poor bugger, that is shit news. I'm assuming you've checked for CCTV footage, anything you can do to help the cops is good.

I can't upload any photos at this stage as I only have my iPhone with me at the moment. My mobile number is 0416426481. Is it possible for anyone else to upload a photo of my behalf? Thank you

    That sux,

I'm just down the road from there so i'll keep an eye out.

Can you describer your bike a bit more... what colour etc.

How do you think they stole it, rolled it away ... back of a truck?

Here are two photos of the bike. Police came out. Didn't really say much. No camera's at all in the carpark at the complex, so no luck there. Will try a letterbox drop as mentioned....you never know someone may have seen something.

Thanks for all of the comments so far.

Totally sux. Attached a photo here for you. Where the bike was parked they would have had to lift it (?) over the top of our cars. Or maybe they could have squeezed down between the two cars. They would have had to take it away on a truck or trailer I am assuming, due to the steering lock.

I just want to get it back. Been such a devastating day!

Thanks for looking out for it for me. :)

Thats horrible to hear. I'm 2 streets away, I'll keep my eyes out.

If you end up finding the bike or getting another I have some spare room in my garage if you would prefer to lock it up. PM me if you want to discuss.

Thanks for the offer of the garaging.....much appreciated! Hopefully, with enough of us out there looking for it, we will find it. Fingers crossed anyway. Thanks again for the message :)

Additional information: I'm pretty sure that this was a targetted theft. They were after a 2013 Ninja 300. There were several other bikes in the underground garage - mine included! Nothing else was touched - and this bike is the last bike you could come across. All the others were left alone and this one stolen - and it was the hardest to steal.

So why would you steal a 2013 Ninja 300? Because you've crashed yours and don't have insurance. I'm not sure - but this makes sense. So, if anyone knows of someone with a Ninja 300 who has crashed it - send me a simfox a PM. I think this is the most likely reason it's been stolen. Anyone else got any thoughts on that?

And yes - there is a roller door - they would have had to follow someone else in, or they had a remote.

Sorry to hear this has happened to you mate.. What people need to realise is that "Secure" Underground Car Parks are shopping malls for bike thieves and due to how easy it is to steal a bike, it doesnt matter how many disc locks and chains you have, if they want it they will get it... Best weapon you can employ is a child eating rottweiler.... Other than that Disc Locks, Chains and the best weapon of all, out of sight = out of mind... I keep mine in a cage well out of sight of anyone in our garage... I've been burnt by this before and I wish I still had my 250 2T :'(

Hope you catch these guys mate, hopefully you get your bike back in 1 piece, or a decent pay out and buy a new 1 :D
