28 Aug 13 - I got my P'ssssssssssss

Hey all, as the title suggests I got my P's today, I got through the MOST with a perfect score.

I must send out a massive thank you to all those who have helped me get to where I am in only 3 months. I took a different approach to some and attempted the test 3 months 3 days after getting my L's.

First and foremost, thanks to Diana [MENTION=14413]Epona[/MENTION], as without her recruiting me to CR, I would not have benefited from all the practice sessions.

Next, a massive thanks to those who have given me feedback on my practice sessions, including but not limited to David [MENTION=23043]DJY[/MENTION], Rob [MENTION=44293]RobBy66[/MENTION] and [MENTION=1453]supamodel[/MENTION].

I hope to be at some future practice session so I can pass on my experiences from the day.

I had to keep telling myself to only do a u-turn and not a 360 or more.....
I would have done a few on the way home but I was racing a thunderstorm home.... I think I won.

I also tried to recruit a few new members today.... 2 guys from Goulburn who were decent blokes with good attitudes. Also, one guy who failed the test, he was unlucky as his dad and uncle were there watching him take the test.... he hadn't practiced much slow speed riding before today. I gave his dad a card and told him to come to our practice sessions because that is what got me ready.

The last potential recruit was my assessor. At the start of the day we were asked to indicate our experience levels and how much practice we had done. I 'may have' blatantly plugged CR just a bit..... at the end of the day David (instructor) asked for a card as he seemed interested in joining us.

So, 4 cards handed out.... let's see how many translate to new members.

Good luck everyone... Its funny how bikers attract bikers like magnets. Last Sunday I was in Kingston waiting for a mate... And within 60 seconds was surrounded by about 4 blokes who were about to go for a spin. One had a diavel similar to David's... Anyhoo just because I had my gear and helmet with me like minded people just flock and chat. I mentioned cr to them, they were local but none were on forum.. some people like forums, some just aren't the chatty type.... Cheers
