Found dog - Amaroo

Hi all

Total long shot, but here goes.

I was outside having a smoke just after the storm hit this evening when a little visitor came calling. We now have a small white and grey female Maltese-type dog staying with us. Unfortunately she has no collar or tags. If you are missing someone who matches the description send me a PM. Found in Rollston Street Amaroo.

Trying to get a photo, but she isn't cooperating.

Kiss it and throw it back in the water

 

Dear little one, she's done a runner in the storm. If you can, put her in the laundry tonight and take her out to the RSPCA tomorrow. Someone will be looking for her and that is the first place they will go.

 

There's a good chance the dog has a microchip, and if so the RSPCA can read it. Take it in there tomorrow.

 

Our plan is to take her to the local vet who is just around the corner. Hopefully they will recognise her, or at least be able to see if she has a chip. Failing that it's off to the RSPCA.

In the mean time she has had some dinner and has only been mildly harassed by the wife's two toy poodles.

 

Yeah the vet should be able to scan for a chip too. I bet those toy poodles are vicious killers :

 

Our little visitor Skye has been reunited with her parents, good thing she had a microchip.

Very good of you to look after her so well for her sleep over as well.

 

great news... my stepbrothers poochy was killed when he escaped during a major storm a few years ago, tragic.. he was a toothless rescue mutt and much loved by his furless parents... so very happy to hear a good outcome for this little sweetheart..

 

Well done mate.
We'd be heart broken if Angus got out and never came back.
