Got a sweet deal from Dr_Teeth for some K-Drive saddlebags yesterday.
Unfortunately the mounting bars to go on the bike are too wide for my VStar 650.
I've tried CMC, Bikebiz and Cruiser Customising but no-one can sell me just the bars.
Does anyone have a good idea of where else to look? I'll paste a picture below so you know what I'm talking about.
    Thanks,
    Rob

If need be, My brother is a welder. You could give him the measurements, the Materials and some sort of payment and he may be kind enough to fix it for you to fit you bike.

Yea the only thing i could think of is to make a little bracket for one side.

Have been advised by a dealer that the bags themselves won't fit my bike. Hmmm, what a pain! I'll check them out when I'm home. Not my day it seems :)

a brace between the 2 original mounting points and drill 2 holes in between where needed, maybe need some spacers as well .

may as work with what you have . spray paint the new bracket black or what ever, some shiny bolts, sweet and still a good deal.
